adj. shocked upon looking twice at something you see every day and cataching an obvious detail you'd never noticed before—an old scar on your loved one's knee, a wall in your house that's apparently always been purple, or a prominenet building that seemed to appear in your neighborhood overnight—which makes you wonder how much else of your world you might be missing, when you're just barely there yourself.
